This policy explains how RentMap handles information when you use rentmap.net.

Information you provide

When you submit a rental listing, we may receive the listing URL, rent details, location, property information and the email address you provide. We use this information to review submissions, maintain the rental-price dataset and communicate about a submission when necessary.

Technical and usage information

Our hosting and security providers may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time, referring page and device information to deliver, secure and improve the site. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and advertising

Google advertising scripts are currently disabled on RentMap. The site retains a publisher ownership verification tag and an ads.txt record; these do not themselves serve advertisements. If advertising is introduced, this policy and the applicable consent controls must be updated before advertising cookies are used.

The rental budget calculator processes your entries in your browser. It does not submit them to RentMap or store them for later visits.

Service providers and links

RentMap uses third-party services to host the site and provide map imagery or related functionality. The site also links to external rental portals. Those services have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their content or policies.

Data retention and your choices

We keep submission information only for as long as needed to operate and improve RentMap, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations. You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information connected with a listing submission by contacting us.
